Interactive workshops will be incorporated into the programme, both before and during AFA Singapore 2010. The workshops will be conducted to actively involve all participants, bringing about the sharing of ideas and the discussion of methods and long-term solutions, in the anticipation of all animal welfare bodies coming together to create a better future for all animals worldwide. Conference Workshops (18th January 2010) 1.Advertising, Spreading the Message Creatively How To Create Powerful Campaigns For Causes That Capture People's Imagination And Change Their Attitude And Behaviour Towards Animals. Find out how packaging your message can be all you need to move others to wanting to support your cause. This workshop will be hosted by Jagdish Ramakrishnan, Chief Creative Director of BBDO, who has been voted one of the top 5 most creative people in Asia. 2. Working with Volunteers Volunteers can be a driving force behind an organisation and help us to achieve far more than we could without their help. However, training, managing and retaining volunteers is a full-time job in itself. Find out how to make volunteer programmes work as best as they can for your organisation, resulting in happy volunteers, a smooth running organisation, and happy animals. 3. Writing to Win Support for Animals We must all, in our various roles, be effective storytellers - if we are going to secure support for our work and cause.
